Brian leads market and technoeconomic research around the commercialization of low carbon technologies in both regulated and voluntary markets – a critical factor in the deployment of capital toward greenfield and expansion projects.
Brian previously led an industry wide initiative to develop new low carbon markets abroad and has worked in more than 30 countries, building public-private alliances with three White House Administrations that led to record exports of low carbon fuels. He has 15 years of experience in regulated and voluntary carbon markets including California’s LCFS, Federal RFS and IRA, Canada’s CFR, and the EU’s RED. Brian earned his Master’s degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis and Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
